Privacy Policy

Who we are
LFY Consulting LLC, doing business as Live for Yourself (LFY) Consulting, operates benjamin-ritter.com and liveforyourselfconsulting.com. This policy covers information collected through these websites, resource signup forms, email communications, and coaching inquiries. For privacy questions or requests, email benjaminritter@lfyconsulting.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as your email address, name, contact details, and information you include in an inquiry or appointment request. The workbook signup asks for your email address. Providing information is voluntary, but we need an email address to email a resource and contact details to respond to an inquiry.
Our website and email providers may also collect technical and activity information, including IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral source, subscription and confirmation records, and email delivery, open, and click activity. Email open measurements can be affected by your email provider's privacy features.
How we use information
We use information to deliver requested resources, respond to inquiries, arrange conversations, provide services, send the emails described at signup, understand engagement, maintain subscriber preferences, and operate and protect our websites.
If you sign up for The Uncrowned CEO Practice Workbook, the signup explains that you will receive the workbook, a follow-up email about applying it, and occasional leadership emails from Dr. Benjamin Ritter. Those emails may include information about coaching, books, events, and other LFY resources. Moving your record between our internal email groups does not mean selling it or adding it to another company's list.
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for subscribed marketing; steps you request before entering a contract or performance of a contract for service inquiries and delivery; legitimate interests in responding to communications, maintaining records, and securing our services; and legal obligations where required. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal.
Email choices
You can stop marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting benjaminritter@lfyconsulting.com. You can object to direct marketing at any time. We may retain limited suppression records to avoid emailing you again. Necessary communications about an existing service or privacy request are separate from marketing.
Service providers and disclosures
We do not sell or rent our subscriber lists. We use service providers to operate the business, and they process information needed to perform their services. These include MailerLite for signup forms, email delivery, subscriber records, and engagement reporting; Vercel and Squarespace for website hosting and delivery; and Cal.com when you use our booking links. Our sites also load services such as Google Fonts, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Insight Tag, depending on the page.
Google Analytics helps measure website use. LinkedIn tools can support advertising measurement and audience features. These services may collect identifiers and activity across websites. Some privacy laws define advertising-related disclosures as a "sale" or "sharing" even when no money changes hands; our statement about subscriber lists is not a claim that advertising technologies make no such disclosures.
We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, or to professional advisers assisting with these matters. We do not promise absolute confidentiality for information submitted over the internet.
Cookies, tracking, and your controls
Our websites and embedded services may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for site functions, signup forms, analytics, and advertising measurement. The workbook landing page does not include the Google Analytics or LinkedIn advertising tags used on other pages, but its embedded MailerLite form and external resources can still process technical information.
You can use browser settings to block or delete cookies and control tracking, and email settings to limit remote-image loading. Blocking some technologies may affect site or form functionality. Where a website presents cookie choices, use those controls. Our sites do not currently have a site-wide response to the older browser Do Not Track signal. For questions or requests about advertising-related data use, contact us. A privacy policy is not itself a cookie-consent control.
Your workbook answers
The downloadable workbook does not submit your answers to us. Answers you enter in your saved PDF stay in the file unless you choose to share it or use another service that uploads it. Keep completed copies where you store confidential business information. Information you choose to email to us is handled as correspondence. Coaching is not therapy, and this policy does not create therapist-client privilege.
How long we keep information
We retain information for the purposes described here, considering your subscription status, engagement, service relationship, and legal or recordkeeping needs. We aim to review and remove inactive subscriber records after approximately 12 months of inactivity. This is a review target, not an automatic deletion deadline.
Unsubscribing stops marketing independently of inactivity cleanup. Limited consent, suppression, security, transaction, or legal records may remain where needed to document preferences, prevent unwanted contact, resolve disputes, or meet obligations. You may request deletion at any time, subject to applicable exceptions.
International visitors and privacy rights
We are based in the United States and welcome visitors from other countries. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, whose privacy laws may differ from yours. MailerLite describes its international processing and contractual safeguards in its Data Processing Addendum. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising-related disclosures. Email benjaminritter@lfyconsulting.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Where applicable, you may appeal a request decision by replying to our response and asking for review, and you may complain to your local data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office for UK matters.
Security and children
We use service providers and access controls to help protect information. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send sensitive family, financial, or health information through a resource signup form.
These websites and resources are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. We will post the revised policy with its updated date and provide additional notice or request consent when required. For questions, corrections, or privacy requests, contact LFY Consulting LLC at benjaminritter@lfyconsulting.com.
